Hotel & Grounds
Duisdale House Hotel is a Victorian mansion on the southern Sleat Peninsula, with views across the Sound of Sleat. The grounds include a garden, sun terrace, and an on-site hot tub, swim spa, and sauna. Private yacht moorings sit on the waterfront for guests arriving by boat.
Accommodation
The hotel has 22 individually styled rooms, from standard and twin rooms with woodland views to Deluxe Sea View Rooms and Luxury Lodges. Deluxe Sea View Rooms include ensuite bathrooms with rainfall showers, bathrobes, and luxury toiletries. Accommodation is spread between the main house and the Luxury Lodges.
Dining
The hotel's restaurant holds two AA Rosettes for culinary excellence and uses local produce. The lounge has high ceilings, a log fire, and a patio overlooking the gardens; the bar stocks local gins and malt whisky. Private dining spaces are available for special events, and special diet menus can be arranged.
Location & Activities
The hotel is 10 minutes from Broadford on the Isle of Skye's Sleat Peninsula. Torabhaig Distillery, a short drive away, produces one of Scotland's newest malts. The Museum of the Isles and Loch Dughaill are also close by for day trips.
